Digital Media Buyer

We're looking for incredibly smart and talented Digital Media Buyers who love all things digital and believe Paid Media is the best way to connect with customers throughout the buyer journey. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Paid Media, strong written and verbal skills, and expertise in Paid Search, Display, Paid Social, Media Buying, Analytics, and more. The candidate should also be results driven, ambitious, organized, articulate and a self-starter. Media Planners will be responsible for developing plans, negotiating buys, and trafficking media campaigns for various clients in an array of industries.

Digital Media Buyer Duties
  • Take an active role in developing media plans for clients that support their overall marketing program and integrate with other digital strategies
  • Provide strategic direction on specific initiatives aimed to increase digital reach among the target audience and improve overall marketing strategies for Nebo clients
  • Conduct extensive audience, industry, and competitive research to inform the media mix for Nebo clients
  • Identify appropriate digital media platforms and channels to leverage for Nebo clients including, but not limited to, programmatic, native, video, rich media, and more
  • Evaluate and select Paid Media publishers, vendors, and platforms, manage relationships and support
  • Prepare media plan presentations with strategy, targeting, and placement recommendations and present to Nebo clients
  • Liaise with creative developers on the best practices for messaging, animation and branding of assets
  • Negotiate and purchase media buys with selected publishers, vendors, and platforms on behalf of Nebo clients
  • Traffic and monitor media buys in DoubleClick or other ad serving platform
  • Track performance and optimize campaigns with partners with respect to pacing, audience engagement, landing page and creative testing, placement performance, and more
  • Manage advertising budgets and maintain accurate records of spend
  • Collaborate with client teams on other paid media and digital campaign efforts to ensure display strategy is aligned
  • Create and present monthly and weekly Paid Media reports with analysis of performance of campaigns along with strategic recommendations for continual improvement
  • Translate strategic recommendations concerning digital experiences into actionable items

Digital Media Buyer Skills Required
  • Digital advertising platforms including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini, and paid social platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of media vendors, platforms, verification partners and DSPs
  • Active interest in paid media industry and trends
  • Ad Serving platforms such as Doubleclick Campaign Manager¬†
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to multitask ¬∑ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Media planning and performance tools like Google Analytics (Adobe Analytics a plus), Comscore, Bionic, Kantar, etc.
