Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Nebo, Brian Easter brings international experience to his role along with a proven track record of helping organizations reach their digital marketing objectives. Under his leadership, Nebo has enjoyed 10 straight years of growth, has never laid a single employee off, and has won over 100 digital awards in the just the past two years.
Brian is known for being a fierce advocate for the end user, a vocal and avid supporter of animal welfare, and writing and speaking about weighty and controversial subjects. An energetic and passionate speaker, Brian has presented at SES, SEMPO, AiMA, the INC 5000 Speaker Series, and many other industry events. He has also been published in publications such as Ad Age, iMedia, Mobile Marketer, Social Media Today.
Brian is an Appalachian State University alumnus with 15+ years of experience in digital marketing. In the beginning stages of his career (or about a millennium in internet time), he even wrote code in primitive coding languages like ASP and Visual Basic, as well as helping organizations optimize for pre-Google, archaic and dinosaur-like platforms, such as Alta Vista and Lycos.
As president & founder of Nebo, Adam oversees brand strategy and creative direction at the 50 person independent agency.
He serves on the board of directors of the Technology Association of Georgia, the Atlanta Ad Club and Startup Atlanta – where he leads the ChooseATL initiative promoting Atlanta as the perfect city for the creative class.
He also teaches Interactive Design at the Creative Circus, one of the nation’s premier portfolio schools, and is currently writing a book on Digital Creative Direction that will be released by Focal Press in the summer of 2015.
Adam was named one of Atlanta's '40 under 40' rising stars by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2011, selected as the Atlanta AMA's Agency Marketer of The Year in 2013 and was also recognized as the 2013 Interactive Marketer of the Year by the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association.
In his spare time, Adam helps run an entrepreneurial mentoring program for a group of amazing kids who live in the Boulevard corridor of Atlanta.
Vice President, Digital Marketing
As Vice President of Digital Marketing, Kimm is responsible for driving the overall digital marketing strategy for Nebo’s clients. She has been working in the digital marketing field for her entire career; a career which was launched after taking a Social Media Marketing role back in the days of Friendster. She is a Georgia Tech graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Certificate in Marketing.
During her time at Nebo, she has led many award-winning digital marketing projects, mentored young talent toward leadership roles, and played an active role in the digital community, previously serving as the Co-VP of Marketing for SEMPO Atlanta and currently serving as the Communications Chair for AMA Atlanta. In 2013, she was recognized as the Rising Star of the Year at the AiMA Awards, and the Search Engine Marketer of the Year at TAG's Tech Marketing awards.
When she is not making sacrifices to the Google Gods, she can be found enjoying Netflix, reading dystopian novels, and bandaging love wounds received from her two adoring cats.
Director of Web & Application Development
Emily Winck is Nebo's director of web and application development and has been a part of a number of major projects, including those for Vocalocity, Lund International, Fouts Fire, and many others. Not only is Emily a highly talented developer, but she is also a natural creator, wielding code, power tools, sewing machines, and cooking utensils with equal dexterity. Emily's double major in Spanish and Visual Communications at Calvin College may seem an unlikely path to a career in web development, but these areas of study, along with her nine years of experience, have contributed to Emily's unique thinking and problem solving abilities.
Director of Business Development
Alice Jaitla joined Nebo with a background in psychology and marketing, as well as experience in maintaining customer relationships. Her approach with clients is to carefully listen and learn about their organization and business goals. From there, she works with the Nebo core team to provide clients with the solutions needed to make their businesses successful. Her strong marketing and technical knowledge all further help her in facilitating the process of bringing new clients on board while keeping existing customers happy.
Alice is a Cum Laude graduate of The University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Psychology with a focus on marketing.
From pixels to paper airplanes, Pete's passion is the art of visual creation. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Georgia College and State University, Pete studied graphic design at The Creative Circus where he blended his old-school art skills with the latest in modern digital design. Since then, he's created award-winning work for brands such as Mercedes-AMG, Under Armour, and Allstate.
As Creative Director at Nebo, Pete is responsible for creating elegant visual solutions to complex business problems. In his free time, Pete is currently learning everything he can about woodworking and furniture restoration.
Director, Project Management
In addition to salt-and-pepper hair, Damon brings project management and customer relationship savvy to Nebo. His varied experience as product developer, web designer, coffee entrepreneur and car parking scientist (valet), allow him to roll with the punches during a client engagement.
Damon has lived in Atlanta since 2000, and during his frequent solo travel, become a master of the self-taken photo before digital cameras existed. When he’s not building spreadsheets and feverishly responding to client requests, he can be found at the park with his daughter, perfecting his meatloaf recipe, reading obscure books (like the tumultuous history of number zero), and searching for the perfect hobby.
Digital Project Manager
Lee brings a deep background in client relations, strategy and project management to Nebo. He relishes the opportunity to work with clients on fast-paced initiatives that solve the business case at hand. He has worked in a number of industry verticals including telecom, financial services, technology and healthcare.
Outside of work, Lee is usually in the kitchen, drinking coffee and reading, or on one of his four bicycles. He is both cursed and blessed by the ability to retain minutiae about everything from world history to obscure musicians.
Digital Project Manager
Sarah Christiansen brings a wealth of marketing and digital project management experience to Nebo. A graduate of Georgia Tech, her work spans the interactive industry, broadcast cable network promotions and nonprofit marketing. She views her clients as partners, working together to bring targeted solutions to market.
Sarah enjoys gourmet cooking at home with her husband and son. She has a love of the arts, especially ballet, and spends an inordinate amount of time watching football in the fall.
Director, Paid Media
Jennifer is a Paid Search Manager/Ninja with Nebo. Her love of everything digital began at age 9 when she received a Tomagotchi as a birthday present. Later, she fulfilled her prophecy (ascribed by her grandfather and father) by attending Georgia Tech and graduating with a B.S. in Management and certificates in both Marketing and Operations & Supply Chain Management.
Since joining the Nebo team in 2008, Jennifer has managed paid search efforts for a range of B2B and B2C clients, from small businesses to Fortune 500 brands. She also continues to be an active member of AiMA by being involved with their college outreach program.
Artur earned a Computer Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, but while in school, he discovered his passion for web design and development. During college he designed and developed 3 of the world’s most popular Tumblr themes.
An expert in frontend development and interaction, Artur is passionate about creating compelling interactive experiences for Nebo’s clients. When he's not doing anything related to the web, he is usually playing sports (soccer, football, bowling), watching movies or breakdancing.
Backend Development Lead
Will has always had a passion for web development and well-crafted web sites. While earning his bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at Auburn University, he worked with multiple clients to improve their existing web presence or bring their products to the web. At Nebo, Will is responsible for frontend and application development for clients, and is also continuing to learn about emerging technologies. When not poring over lines of code, Will likes to read science fiction, brew beer, and look at cat pictures.
As a junior designer at Nebo, Venkat has a hand in a variety of projects in the creative department. A recent graduate of Georgia State University with a B.F.A in Graphic Design, Venkat came fresh out of school proficient in an impressive number of design programs and applications, and a desire to throw himself into his chosen field. At Nebo he has found an environment where he can throw himself into graphic design and a keg of free beer, his two favorite things.
After work you will see him passing your car on his yellow bicycle or stalling on the side of the road on one of the mopeds he will eventually get to run properly. Originally from Turks and Caicos, he's made Atlanta his home, but misses shaking sand out of his shorts.
Web Architect Lead
An all-around all-star team player, Chris has been doing web development since 1998. He garnered a dozen of his own clients through his college years at Georgia Tech, where he focused on software engineering and data management. After spending some time in the field of network security for financial institutions, he came back to his first love—web development. If there is a challenge, Chris is there to knock it out of the park. Chris is a geek at heart but loves the city, his friends, good food, good conversation and shiny-new Nebo websites.
Ken is a storyteller adept at crafting brand messaging that is clever and engaging, while still focused on bringing home the bacon for clients. He demonstrates impeccable insight, creating headlines, brand stories, web copy, blogs, and other content that hits the right points with target audiences.
He is a graduate of the Portfolio Center School of Advertising & Design, with experience writing everything from websites to articles to video games.
Director, Digital Public Relations & Social Media Marketing
As Director of Digital Public Relations & Social Media Marketing at Nebo, Jenna offers a wealth of experience with digital and traditional public relations as well as social media implementation. From new product launches to national media events, ongoing media outreach efforts to development of social initiatives, Jenna has executed communications programs for clients of all sizes – from locally-based companies to Fortune 500 brands.
Jenna is a graduate of The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with emphasis in Telecommunication Arts. In her spare time, you can find Jenna immersed in news, current events and pop culture or enjoying the latest in dining, arts and entertainment around the city.
Digital Public Relations Lead
Laura is responsible for the strategy, planning and implementation of all public relations, communications and media outreach programs for Nebo and its clients. She plays a key role in every phase of a campaign, from new client onboarding, campaign research and strategy to implementation, measuring and reporting on success. She’s worked on various digital PR initiatives for a wide range of B2B and B2C brands, from small boutique firms to Fortune 1000 corporations.
In addition to her work with Nebo, she’s involved in various industry organizations including Atlanta AMA, Charlotte AMA, AiMA, Atlanta Press Club, Technology Association of Georgia, SEMPO Atlanta and more.
She graduated three years ago from the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations. In her free time, you can almost always find her reading (probably a book on social or behavioral psych) or spoiling her dog Lily. In general, she loves traveling, spending time with family and wine.
Director, Search Engine Optimization
As Director of SEO at Nebo, Stephanie oversees the SEO department and is responsible for planning and implementing effective campaigns and being in the know on all the trends in the space. She got hooked on digital marketing years ago while still at Georgia State University, where she graduated with a degree in Marketing.
Stephanie came to Nebo with a traditional marketing background including experience both in-house and with brand management. She has a passion for all things digital and enjoys bringing marketing ideas to the online environment. When she’s not honing her SEO and analytical skills she enjoys reading a good book or going for a long run.
Senior Paid Media Manager
After graduating from Georgia State University with a BBA in Marketing, Kelly discovered her passion for digital marketing. She came to Nebo with only self-taught knowledge of SEO, web design, and PPC but has since been able to expand her understanding of the whole industry, specifically paid search. She enjoys working with a variety of clients and learning the ins and outs of everything PPC!
Digital Project Manager
Christy earned her B.S. in Marketing and Management at Florida State University where she quickly discovered her passion for digital marketing and weekend trips to Disney's Magic Kingdom. At Nebo, she puts her communication skills and knack for relationship building to good use as a Project Manager, helping clients launch award-winning campaigns and engage with their users.
When she's not hustling for her clients or serving on the Board of Directors for AMA Atlanta, you can find Christy watching just about any sporting event (Go Noles!), helping keep Atlanta's retail stores in business, and traveling to the Florida beaches whenever possible.
While working towards his B.S. in Psychology at Towson University, Evan discovered his love of writing and knack for turning a phrase. He parlayed his personal blog into a weekly column with the student paper and never looked back. He has since filled his portfolio with everything from freelance journalism to humor writing for The Onion. He aims to infuse his copy with wit, rhythm and an eye-catching aesthetic.
When he's not brushing up on marketing lingo and polishing his copywriting chops, you'll likely find him guzzling energy drinks, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens or watching Scrubs on endless repeat.
John graduated from the famous Grady College at the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism and a fervent love of the English language. His passions inform his writing, as evidenced in a portfolio of work including album reviews, essays about video games and editorials on the waning public and political interest in space exploration. If the Atlanta Braves aren't playing, John is most likely working on his graphic novel or getting weird with his friends.
Heather Johnston is a PPC Specialist with Nebo. After graduating from Georgia State University, she joined the team and has been working with the company since 2008. From her experience with Nebo, Heather has had the opportunity to learn and apply various skills gained in the realm of Search Engine Marketing, including pay-per-click advertising, e-commerce, and search engine optimization.
Though Heather’s educational background lies in music, Nebo has provided a platform for her to continue learning about a new and exciting field that is constantly growing and evolving. Outside of keeping up with the next big change Google is about to unveil, Heather enjoys keeping up her classical piano chops and attempting new Martha Stewart recipes.
Paid Media Specialist
Kimmie began her career at Nebo shortly after graduating from Georgia College & State University – equipped with a degree in Marketing and ready to discover the digital world. As a Jr. Paid Media Specialist, Kimmie manages the day-to-day activities of client accounts and aids in overall strategies. She is Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Bing Ads certified, and she is always looking for new ways to build her skill sets.
Kimmie is most known at Nebo for her awkward facial expressions, interest in competitive eating and crazy obsession with Korean pop music. On the weekends, you can expect Kimmie to be watching really bad television shows and hanging out with her two pomeranians, Pookie and Xander.
Senior SEO Specialist
As an integral part of the Nebo SEO team, Nate helps clients to get their website noticed by search engines. Nate has been learning about search engines since the days of HotBot and Altavista, and also has experience in sales and PPC advertising. He's a graduate of the University of Georgia and is qualified by Google in AdWords and Analytics.
When he's not working with keywords and advanced search operators, Nate is probably biking the streets of Atlanta, or hanging out with his family
Junior Web Developer
David is a 5th year super senior at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently in the process of earning a degree in Computer Science. David has always had a passion for web design and is thrilled to further develop his skills at Nebo. When he’s not banging out websites, David enjoys music, photography, and watching sports.
Sarah supports the Nebo SEO team in their online marketing efforts. She graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Marketing. After graduation Sarah held in-house marketing roles where she focused on online communications and gained valuable experience in all aspects of digital marketing. She comes to the Nebo excited to learn everything she can about SEO and digital marketing from the experts on the team.
When she’s not working on learning the latest SEO trends, Sarah enjoys finding the best local dinner spots, experiencing the Atlanta nightlife with friends, and being out at Piedmont park with her adorable dog.
Xiao-Wen graduated from Emmanuel College with a degree in Psychology and has a Master of Science in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University (Waltham, MA).
He enjoys speaking to users, finding out how they interact with websites and solving tough usability problems. Looking to expand his production skills, he attended the Creative Circus in Atlanta, where he learned front-end development and interaction design.
Outside of work, you can find him cooking, at the gym and instagramming photos of his dog.
Digital PR and Social Specialist
Meagan is a University of Georgia graduate who got her start in digital media while living in South Korea as a freelance writer and editor. Once cured of the travel bug and back in the US, she decided to pursue her passion for writing and communication within the field of public relations. She is devoted to refining her skills as a media maven, creative strategist and wordsmith. She is also a zinester, geocacher, DIYer and wannabe barista
Digital Project Manager
Farah was born and raised in Venezuela until she moved to the U.S. to attend college. She graduated from Goizueta Business School at Emory University with a BBA in Marketing and Strategy & Management Consulting. Her passion for digital marketing led her to join the Nebo team as a Digital Project Manager.
Besides being passionate about marketing, Farah enjoys keeping up with current affairs and being involved in the community. In her free time, you can find her creating new recipes in the kitchen, drawing and painting, and planning her next travel!
Digital Account Executive
Darien LaBeach is a graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with a B.B.A. in Marketing and an emphasis in Communication Studies. Before the age of one he was already an international traveler, moving from Jamaica to the U.S., and has never stopped loving that experience. A world traveler and storyteller, his passions for people and problem solving are evident to those who come to Nebo seeking help.
He loves capturing moments on his iPhone and when he’s not updating his blog, obsessing over salsa, or playing tennis, he can usually be found trying to cure boredom and increase laughter by perusing Tickld or watching Doctor Who. Darien is motivated by his desire to inspire and to leave a positive legacy in his wake!
Nii studied English and Professional Communication at Southern Polytechnic State University. After college, he caught a one-way ticket to Silicon Valley, to launch a tech start-up company that aggregated brand content in a beautiful way and participated in the NewMe Accelerator—a Silicon Valley accelerator sponsored by Google and Andreessen Horowitz.
After returning to Atlanta, he joined BBDO and worked with their behavioral planning team. Today, he’s happily applying his experiences and skills at Nebo.
Laura attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL with a BFA in Illustration. Shortly after, she worked for a digital agency in Charleston, SC where she did everything from illustration to website design. Laura joined Nebo a few years later and now plays the role of Interactive Designer.
In her off time, Laura enjoys working on personal art projects, telling funny stories, being in the woods or at the beach, watching Netflix, laughing, going to the movies, camping and just being around the people she loves.
Jr. Interactive Designer
William joined Nebo after studying interactive design at the Creative Circus. After spending his formative years pondering ancient texts and the history of ideas at Lewis & Clark College, he rounded out his education while living with ascetics on a Brazilian mountain top. The rest he picks up wherever he can.
William creates apps and websites and helps brands re-imagine their digital products, otherwise he’s probably out on a run, deep in a book, or working in the garden.
Front End Developer
Jean-Marc is a brand new Atlantan, coming from Paris to start a new exciting life adventure.
He graduated with a private law and political sciences degree from The University of Versailles, France. But he soon realized that his passion for web development was stronger and later graduated from the CNAM, in Paris.
When he is not coding awesome websites, you'll find him taking care of his family, getting lost in the wild or having fun with his friends.
Jon’s experience spans wholesale, retail, and digital marketing. His focus on the web has been in SEO, specifically working to understand user behavior and intent to improve the overall user experience. He is also an active volunteer with Hands On Tech with Hands On Atlanta where he helps non profit organizations by empowering them to publish their stories and advance their missions on Wordpress.
Outside of the office he enjoys scoping out places he finds on Thrillist, checking out what’s playing in theaters, or just spending a quiet evening catching up on shows that originally aired like 10 years ago on Netflix.
Digital Project Manager
Abby has a background in traditional and digital marketing and also has extensive experience in hospitality. After several years of working in ad agencies, she decided to pursue her interest in worldly cuisines and attended culinary school. Her culinary career focused in fine dining and catering and kept her on her toes, quite literally. Alas, she couldn't resist the call of marketing and happily returned to refine her digital chops.
When not focused on client projects, you can find Abby supporting as many local restaurants as possible, cooking, of course, and doting on her cat and dog.
Jr. Digital Marketing Analyst
Julie is a graduate of Georgia Tech where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in marketing. Her experience ranges from writing grants for a small non-profit to working in marketing for General Electric. Her love of marketing and analytics led her to her role as a Jr. Digital Marketing Analyst at Nebo.
Outside of work, you can find Julie reading a good book, playing basketball, giving her lab a belly scratch, exploring Atlanta with friends, catching a Braves game, or cultivating her love of chocolate.
Katelyn recently graduated from the University of Georgia’s Grady College with a B.A. in Journalism (magazine emphasis). She is a passionate writer with experience in content creation, social media strategy, and website redesign. Her enthusiasm for writing is fueled by a deeper love for creativity. She is very excited to join Nebo and continue to learn about digital marketing from the talented team.
When she’s not writing or geeking out over new social media trends, you can probably find Katelyn in the gym, exploring Atlanta, reading Harry Potter, or playing peacekeeper between her adorable new puppy and her sassy cat who has declared herself Queen of the Universe.

Evan graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.B.A. in Marketing, and a minor in Fashion Merchandising. She has internship experience in event planning, fashion promotion, and social media management. She comes to Nebo ready to delve into the world of digital marketing, and soak up knowledge from the team. As a Jr. Paid Media Specialist, Daren is responsible for developing, implementing and launching Pay Per Click Campaigns for Nebo’s clients. His passion for digital marketing was fostered in his mission to help others through the benefits of training the martial art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He is also is a senior at Tech and will graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing.
When he is not boosting conversions, raising click-through-rates, increasing quality score, and lowering cost-per-click he can be found riding his bike on the beltline, training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and doing CrossFit.
Jr. Paid Media Specialist
Rachel is a recent grad of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She chose her career because she loves the thought of helping her clients reach their full potential through the benefits of search engine marketing. She really enjoys merging her passion for technology with her clients' products and services to develop optimal PPC campaigns.
When Rachel is not honing her PPC skills, she is hanging out at the nearest coffee shop, catching up on her YouTube subscriptions. At home, she tries to entertain her cat, Athena, but is usually unsuccessful at holding her attention.
Backend Web Developer
Jessica is from Pennsylvania, where she earned a Computer Science degree from Shippensburg University. Originally, she had wanted to be a video game developer, but the call of the web was just too strong to ignore! She's now looking forward to applying her skills at Nebo and enjoying the big-city lifestyle.
When not coding, Jessica can be found gaming, dabbling in art, or exploring everything Atlanta has to offer.
After accepting his full-blown addiction to design, Jake began his career earning a degree in 3D Animation and Video Editing. From there, he went on to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Oklahoma State University and five years as a Graphic Designer before relocating to Atlanta in 2009. Since then, Jake has completed a Master of Art’s degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design and created award-winning work with such clients as NAPA Auto Parts, The Home Depot, The Coca-Cola Company, Club Car, and the Georgia Aquarium.
When not obsessing over pixels or cursing a non-responsive website, Jake can normally be found at home, spending time with his wife and son, working on his yard, or wading the nearest river in hopes of catching a big one.
Ashby’s first experience with an Apple product was in the sixth grade when she held her very first iPod classic. She enjoyed sharing those moments with her customers at the Apple Store but that wasn’t enough to keep her curiosity at bay for the technology she desired to know more about. One Monday morning, she made the decision to pursue a development career full time by enrolling in an intensive iOS engineering cohort at The Iron Yard. After graduating and finishing her first two contracts, she found a home here at Nebo.
When Ashby isn’t crafting iOS applications or attending hackathons, she is looking for new vinyls to add to her collection.
