Brand & Audience Insights
However, CAMA had an extremely outdated website unbefitting of one of Charlotte's largest professional organizations. Marketers and potential members were having a very hard time getting value out of the site because it was hard to find pertinent information, search for jobs and sign up for AMA. Visitors didn't know what they did, and CAMA board members were finding that adding and editing site copy was cumbersome.
The website wasn't the only change they wanted to make. In fact, CAMA was seeking a complete rebrand as their priorities had shifted. With a laundry list of things that needed to be done before CAMA had an online presence worthy of the organization, it fell to Nebo to make a user-friendly, easily updated website while giving the entire association a new face.
Solving the Problem
Nebo designed a new website for CAMA with our robust and user-friendly content management system. This site was molded to fit their evolving priorities, i.e. earn new members and get people to events. However, membership signup happens on the national level so it was important for the Charlotte site to seamlessly mesh with the national site.
The rebrand and site had to accomplish the following: better integrate with the national AMA site for registrations, have the ability to pull or link to content from the National site, serve as a platform for job promotion in the Charlotte area and better promote events.
To accomplish this in conjunction with the rebrand, Nebo:
- Designed an entirely new look for the organization, including a new logo, color palette and design language across the site
- Restructured information architecture to emphasize the benefits of AMA and prioritize information about events
- Gave CAMA a way to easily update their site
